Just because you love what you do doesn’t mean it’s easy. . . . Nobody tells you that part. They just say “follow your passion” and hope you figure out the rest. People see the packed dance floor. They don’t see me loading heavy gear into the car, driving two hours to the venue, setting up three hours early, sound-checking every mic and speaker, and then doing the wedding. Only to break it all down in the dark and load it all back into the car , because that gear feels heavy as sh*t when you’re tired. 16-hour days. Timeline calls. Music prep. Folder organizing. That’s the real job. . . . But that’s exactly why the dance floor hits different. The grind behind the scenes is what makes the magic in the room look effortless.
