Teachable moments: This is not a time to be afraid!

Subtopic: God is still in control even in our protest.

The Bible tells us that any power that be is from God.

Whether we agree with it or not.

God has always use the governments and governmental systems in some form to get the world attention.

God is trying to get the world attention through the greatest nation in history and on one of the greatest American Holiday ever.

MLK, Jr.'s Birthday! Reverend Doctor King was one of the greatest unifier in history and we are standing on a pivotal moment in history whereas we are watching the greatest dividers in history is going to take the world into a different direction.

What would Dr. King message be to us?

I propose that Rev King would tell us to watch and pray because no one will escape this moment in world history because God has the world's attention.

Romans 13:1 tells us, “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God”

(Romans 13:1 NLT). When Paul wrote these words, he was living under Roman jurisdiction.

In Romans 8:18 Paul says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.”

Notice the words “suffering” and “present time.” Christianity does not give us a free pass from suffering.

Knowing Jesus is not a “get out of suffering” card.

Watch and pray as well as we watch and remember where God has brought us from.

God has blessed us in the past and He will continue to bless us into the future as well as right now.

It’s amazing how people can use each other when they are useful to each other but when they are no longer useful to each other they can’t wait to put each other in the pasture to die to get a windfall to live the life that they couldn’t live together.

A fool says in his heart there is no God. What kind of fool am I because I say there is a God and sometimes I have a problem connecting with the God I believing in His presence with me when I am facing challenges beyond myself. Increase my faith
