I have the unpleasant task of bringing you all some bad news. We have no choice but to cancel the brunch planned for January 9th at Funny Bone.

This is especially unpleasant because of the reasons we must cancel. Several of our cast members have recently tested positive for covid-19. Yes, we could have other girls perform in their place, but we all work and play together, so all of us could have potentially been exposed.

It's important to everyone at Kweenz Events that we protect our cast, the employees of the wonderful venues where we perform, and more than anyone else, our fans. Considering how many tickets we had sold, the room would have been so full that there would have been no way to ensure proper social distancing for everyone. We refuse to be responsible for getting any of you sick.

None of us are very sick at all, so don't worry about us! We will be fine, we're q***r and vaccinated which pretty much makes us superheroes.

We hope to be back very soon, but it seems like a growing number of performance art shows such as drag, comedy, theater, and live music are being canceled due to covid diagnoses or an abundance of caution. Until this pandemic is finally over, no one really knows what the future holds for performing arts, which is unfortunate and sad.

I really wish we had better news for you, but stay tuned! One way or another, we won't be away from stages for very long.
