What a night. ✨

There is something incredibly powerful about women coming together to speak their truth, share their stories and remember that writing has the ability to heal, connect and transform us. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Sing Sing Kill Brewery for such an honest, funny, heartfelt and inspiring conversation with author Melissa Trombetta about her beautiful new novel, The Summer Place to Be.

The conversation reminded all of us that it is never too late for second chances, new beginnings, unexpected love or rediscovering yourself. And honestly? This book is the perfect summer read — warm, emotional, romantic and full of heart.

Thank you Melissa for your vulnerability, your storytelling and for reminding us why stories matter so much. 💛📚🍻

Hot take: your main character energy is about to peak on May 14 💫

Join us at Sing Sing Kill Brewery at 6:30 PM for a night of drinks, bites, and very good conversation with the incredible Melissa Trombetta—celebrating her brand new book The Summer Place to Be (Lainey Springs Book 1) 📚

Meet Charlie Taylor—44, freshly divorced, a little unraveled, and heading home for a “quiet reset” that is… anything but.
Because enter: Jameson Clover. Former country band heartthrob turned small-town bar owner.

What starts as flirty banter (the “I will be thinking about this later” kind) turns into something deeper, messier, and impossible to ignore.

✨ This one’s for anyone who’s ever wondered… what if it’s not too late to start over?

Grab your friends, grab a drink, and come hang with us for a night that feels like the start of your next chapter.

🎟️ Get your tickets ASAP — link is in my bio above!

I met Melissa through my book club—just a group of people who love getting lost in stories—and somehow that turned into one of those real-life plot twists. This is our second event together, and somewhere between talking books and the reality of how hard the writing process is, she’s also become a go-to “this is so hard” shoulder to lean on.

I love that we’re relatively new friends and yet here we are doing this together. Life is kind of beautiful like that—you never stop connecting, never stop meeting people who get you.

So now did you get your ticket to her event!? Link in bio 👆

Let me tell you more about it…

• small town drama (we love gossip)
• romance that sneaks up on you and then absolutely ruins your week (we love pain??)

Hi Barbie.. reporting back fresh from Los Angeles ✨

And let me just say: where has LA been all my life? First time there and I fully drank the (green juice) Kool-Aid. The weather? Offensive in how perfect it is. The people? Suspiciously chatty and happy. The food? Each meal was better than the next (sushi, tacos, pizza!).

And the movie business? Everywhere. Not in a “cool concept” way—in a “oh, this is an actual machine with thousands of people making magic happen” way. As someone who has always loved media—movies, TV, storytelling in all its forms—it was equal parts mind-blowing and awe-inspiring. I get it now. I really get it. Had I seen this world in my 20s, I might’ve packed it up and chased a completely different life.

(Yes, my brother has already labeled me a “New York traitor.” Relax. I’m not going anywhere. I will die complaining about the snow, the heat and the cold like the rest of us.)

But for a few days, I leaned all the way in—yes, including fully committing to driving Barbie’s car like it was a personality trait—and it was very fun to pretend I lived in that world.

Now I’m back in New York, back to reality, back to work… and back to writing. And honestly? Feeling a little more inspired than before.
