🎙 My name is Paula Sangeleer and after nearly 30 years of rocking the radio airwaves, I’ve figured out my story. I'm a middle-aged rock-n-roller who is striving to be the kindest person on the planet. In short, this is the story of my life, from a perspective that you've probably never considered.
🧬 In case we’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, my voice is larger than life while my stature is well...not. Dwarfism is a genetic mutation that runs in my family, including for me, my sisters, my mother and her mother as well. I like to say sometimes that I'm a mutant. People go "Oh, no, you're not," but I actually am. It's a genetic mutation called Pseudoachondroplasia, which affects about 1 in 50,000-100,000 people.
🤷♀️ It's one of the first things that strangers notice, but it's just not a big deal to me. It's just something that makes me uniquely me, and a lot different from your average person. I guess I'm not average, which I'm glad for because I like to be different. Or I like that I'm different.
🤟 I have lots of stories to share, but the common message is just to be nice. Whatever that means to you, knock yourself out, but my goal is to help people, feed people and don't be an as***le. I mean, could it be that simple? I think so. Check out PaulaSangeleer.com for more stories over the coming weeks!
