Joan Rivers asked me to surprise her. I designed avant-garde life sized table centerpieces of cows. Yes, cows! 🐄 It was magnificent. What I did not design it for was her doorframe.

was in hysterics. It was worked out in the end but the lesson was more valuable. Genius means nothing without logistics.

Our Harry Potter inspired event was spectacular right up until it wasn’t. We suspended candles from the ceiling — hundreds of them, floating like Hogwarts itself — it was vibe, until gravity had something to say about it. 😫
