First time looking for Penny deals. Went to 4 different places looking and talked with employees at each store. It does vary greatly according to each manager but they all confirmed that once the item rings up for $.01, they are supposed to go and remove the rest. However, sometimes they get busy and don’t have time if they are at the register.
Here’s the variety of socks I got. My kids are picking the ones they want and the rest are getting donated to a teenage shelter nearby. I told my kids that it was a treasure hunt and recruited them. After I scanned with the app and it turned up not found, they would run and scan it with the in store scanners and they told me if it was a penny. One daughter couldn’t stop giggling when they all rang up a penny. I probably found about 40 all together. Thank you!
