Feeling stressed about wedding season coming up? Here’s a check-in from a wedding planner (and a sweet photo to make you smile):

✨Dedicate a day to creating a to-do list. This always helps me gather my thoughts and prioritize tasks to feel less overwhelmed.

✨Our feeds are saturated with the latest trends… Keep what you see in mind as inspiration, but don’t second-guess your own design ideas based on something else you see and fall in love with. There is a way to balance your original concept with spurs of inspiration! (Your planner can help🤍)

✨Whatever you’re doing, take quick breaks often! Don’t forget we are human beings, not human do-ings. Just take a breath and breathe for a sec.

Planning doesn’t have to be so stressful, it becomes something you keep putting off. I’m happy to help 🤗 Now have a good day 💛

Hi, it’s me!!! I’m long overdue for a formal introduction. If you’re new here, hey l’m Kayley! I’m a Rhode Island-based wedding and event planner. I’m so glad you’re joining me 🫶🏻
Here are a few fun things about me so we can become fast friends:
🫧 I’m a sucker for oat milk lattes
🫧 I could spend hours listening to murder mystery podcasts, specifically Mr. Ballen’s Strange Dark and Mysterious
🫧 I am a HUGE dog lover (all animals really, but I will probably be your dog’s bestie in no time)
🫧 A few years ago, I spent 4 months living in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 A somewhat random opportunity lead me to a magical solo adventure + got me hooked on the culture shock feeling. I travel whenever I can in the winters while I don’t have weddings booked!
🫧 One of my dream jobs is to be a jewelry designer ✨
🫧 I love watching live music and attending concerts! …another dream job = DJ 🎧
🫧 My whole life, my family would spend the week of July 4th in a rental house on Block Island. I knew I needed more time on the island so after my first year of college, I worked at the original Finn’s Seafood Restaurant! (Anyone remember their takeout window in the ferry parking lot? 😉)
🫧 After years of working in restaurants, I found a job with a wedding florist which introduced me to the world of weddings! This position inspired me to get more involved as a vendor who oversees the overall plan.
🫧 I only take on a limited amount of weddings each year (around 8). This is how I make sure I’m serving each couple 10000%.

One volunteer picked up 1,334 golf balls from the Little Compton shoreline last year. We should probably stop hitting golf balls into the ocean, right?
