Dear gentle reader — the moment has come. The quill has been set to paper, the intelligence gathered, the column written, and this gazette is pleased — deeply, rather smugly pleased — to present its very first subject to the good people of New Prague.
He is a painter. He is a restorer of things others have given up on. He was handed a brush at the age of ten, despised it completely, and has since built an enterprise of considerable ambition around it. He wanders thousands of acres of public land that the rest of us have been walking past without a second glance. He leads his team to Thursday lunch at local establishments with the regularity of a man who takes community seriously — because he does.
