Want to keep supporting our local youth? Don’t miss the pre-rodeo events Thursday, Friday, and Saturday — these events highlight our local kids, their hard work, and the next generation of agriculture and rodeo.

From the arena to the barns, our community continues to show up for our youth, and we are so grateful.

The dust has settled, the lights are off, and we are already dreaming about next year. ❤️
One of the best parts of fair is that it belongs to all of us — exhibitors, families, buyers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and everyone who walks through the gates.

We couldn’t be everywhere at once… (even though we tried!)

Fair week moves fast. There are so many animals, projects, smiles, ribbons, laughs, late nights, early mornings, and memories being made that we know we missed some of your favorite moments!

Now that everyone has had a chance to catch up on a little sleep (and recover before school starts 😉), we want to see them!

❤️ This girl is tired… but my heart is so full. ❤️

When I said yes to being the 2026 Payette County Fair Social Media Intern, I knew I’d be busy… but I don’t think I fully understood just how much heart, hard work, and community would go into one incredible week.

And now here we are.

The fairgrounds are quiet. The posts will be slowing down. The camera roll is overflowing. My step count has officially tripled. 😂 My boots are dusty, my coffee intake was questionable, my truck looks like a bomb went off in it and I am absolutely exhausted.

But I am also incredibly grateful.

Thank you, Payette County Fair, for trusting me to help share your stories. Thank you to every exhibitor, parent, volunteer, superintendent, buyer, vendor, sponsor, and community member who let me capture a small piece of what makes this fair so special.
I got to witness kids chase goals, families show up, volunteers pour out their time, and an entire community come together during a truly historic 80th anniversary year.

What started as “taking some pictures and making some posts while my own kid shows" turned into thousands of moments, countless smiles, and a reminder of why fairs matter.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of it. 💙
Now excuse me while I go rest… because apparently fair week recovery is a real thing. 😂

I will see you all again next year!

The fair may be over, but supporting our kids never stops.

The lights are off, the barns are quiet, and another amazing Payette County Fair is in the books… but the impact of our community continues all year long. ❤️

Our youth need more than one week of support. They need mentors, volunteers, supporters, and people who show up.

Come cheer at a sporting event.
Volunteer with 4-H.
Support local youth programs.
Encourage the next generation.
Because the lessons learned at fair — hard work, responsibility, leadership, and dedication — carry with these kids long after the gates close.
