It’s been a while, flower friends! I had ambitions for growing some cuts for market bouquets this year. The universe wasn’t exactly on my side and about all I’ve got are zinnia and sunflowers (who’s complaining??)

Let me know if you want any!

Hey, flower friends, it’s been a while. It’s been a couple busy years and big transitions for my family and my farm. In the last two years, I’ve only grown a few flowers, BUT I’ve still had the chance to do a couple weddings for some great couples.

Every time I start working with flowers, I remember how much I miss them. I’m working behind the scenes to get the farm ready for the 2024 season (eeeekkk!!)

In the meantime, I’m booking wedding and special event work for 2024. I’m located in the Treasure Valley, but willing (and would love to travel) back to the Magic Valley and beyond.

If you are interested, send me a message and let’s chat!

I’mmmmmm baaaaccckkkk. Sort of.

Hey, there it’s been a while. This spring my family and I relocated from Jerome to New Plymouth, Idaho. It’s been an adjustment for all of us. We are currently building a home and with the timing of the move I knew it wouldn’t be a great season to re-start the flower farm in a new location.

Fast forward to today, my dahlia tubers had a rough go with the move and change of climate and now I’m battling new growing conditions, poor soil and BUGS (don’t look too closely at these, they are rough) but I’m happy to see some flowers.

Also, big news for me, I started a full-time job off-farm job. I wasn’t looking when a great position fell into my lap. In April I started as the Director of Communications for Valley Wide Cooperative. At this point I don’t know what it means for the flower farm, but we will figure it out as we go.

I’m still officially closed for the 2022 season, though I do have a wedding scheduled for this fall. I’m also taking wedding inquiries for 2023. Depending on size, I’d be happy to travel to the Magic Valley (and beyond!)

Thanks for following along, fellow flower lovers.

Hey flower friends!! I know it’s been awfully quiet over here in my part of the ‘gram. It started off as just a little break after the burnout of a fantastic season and one month led to another.

To be honest though, the real reason for the quiet is, WE’RE MOVING!! Recently my husband took a job that allows him to work remotely/travel. After a lot (I’m mean A LOT) of consideration we decided to relocate. We recently purchased property in my hometown, New Plymouth, Idaho (it’s near Boise).

Since the move will happen mid-flower season the flower farm will not reopen in our new location until 2023 - though I expect to be doing plenty of flower stuff in the meantime.

For all my Magic Valley friends, I can’t thank you you enough for all the support and love of my business. A year ago I thought this would be my forever home and at 80 you’d still find me pedaling flowers at the Twin Falls Farmers Market. This place really is something special.

Change is hard, but I have a feeling this will be a good one.

Flower farming has taught me it’s okay to do things before I think I’m “ready.” If I waited until then, I might never try.

I bought most of the flowers for this arch (you know, weather) but the cafe au lait dahlias in the middle are all mine.

It was such a pleasure to finish out this season with this wedding. Check out my stories for a few more peeks at the wedding flowers.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here the last few weeks. It’s definitely not because anything is slowing down, I’m just not taking anytime to post. I’m working on finishing the season with a bang 💥Weddings, the last of the subscriptions, custom & wholesale orders are all on the docket this week. I probably won’t make the Twin Falls Farmers Market this week (sorry my faithful customers!!) but hopefully I’ll be back next week.
