I am blessed. Let me start there. This past year or so, things have changed and have caused me to evaluate a lot of aspects of my life. Nothing happens overnight and God has given me signals here and there to light my path, in honesty I have taken some of those for granted. I'm paying close attention now and have decided to slow Mabel Lane Boutique down. It has blessed my family and I beyond my expectations. There have been way more wins than losses but it's time to slow down. I have had a health issue recently that led me to really look at how busy I have become. Another signal and yes I paid attention. The stress of last year when my family and I all got Covid at Christmas, in the height of my busy season was the biggest eye opener that I was not prepared for. I am now. Slow down and appreciate what I have, it's enough.
Things always fall into place especially when you are in prayer. Mabel Lane filled a creative void and helped my family financially for many years but God always knows better and what's coming.
Over a year ago I started working for Maryland Cannabis Physicians from home to help supplement some additional income. It has grown by leaps and bounds and I am now in a new position of CFO and love it! Mabel Lane has always been my priority but it's time to focus on something else and slow down to take a breath.
Over the next few weeks I will be posting a listing or 2 that is discounted until it sells out. When it's gone it's gone. My goal is by summers end to have my stock cleaned out so I can simplify my process and just create felt Christmas flowers and garlands (I still need to be creative) and create enough to stock up for the Christmas Season but not overwhelm myself or my family.
Thank you everyone for your support over the years and your continued prayer as I transition into another phase of this crazy, lovely life!
