Michele Zipp, Officiant I am a non-denominational minister based in the Hudson Valley. I am a non-denominational Ordained Minister with the Universal Life Church.

In 2011, my best friends asked me to officiate their wedding and that began my journey into this ritual, which is fully customized with every detail curated for each couple. I love the ritual of weddings. I am an empath and healer. I’m also a professional writer and editor with over 20 years in the publishing industry. Writing your love story and ceremonial with thoughtfully tailored words is of t

he utmost importance to me. My belief is that the ceremony is a sacred moment — it’s the moment a couple enters into marriage. It must be all about the couple and a celebration of all that brought us to the wedding day. It must allow you to feel grounded and present, and fully connected — to be able to breathe in and feel your emotions and love deeply. And all of your guests must feel enveloped in the energy of love as well. To capture your love story in a ceremony, to celebrate all that makes you unique as a couple, is an honor and one I cherish. I love to incorporate customs and traditions that are meaningful to you, and have included beloved rituals like handfasting, blessing circles, and candle lighting. I’ve deepened these rituals by creating moments I’ve never seen in a wedding before — personalized crystal and botanical grids, hand washing in magical botanicals and herbs, and my Heart Chakra Reiki at the altar space. Every element chosen is through intuition and love, Reiki charged, fully customized, and become gifts to you. These items possess the energy of the moment, your energy, the energy of the words spoken at your ceremony, and they are sweet keepsakes. I come to you with over 20 years in the publishing industry as a writer and editor, with the depth of being a Reiki Master healer since 2016, and the knowledge and professionalism of being a wedding officiant since 2011. As your officiant, I love to make your wedding uniquely your own, unforgettable, magical, and with a beautiful calm and joyful energy.

The very magical is celebrating 10 years and over those years, I’ve had so many incredible moments officiating weddings … and at my own wedding. I’ve also had staycations and dinners there and made wonderful friends. It’s really great to be able to re-visit the place you got married. And we’ve loved putting on our wedding clothes again to do just that. (Speaking of, we are overdue for a visit.)
