POV: your dance floor stays full all night 😜🥂

I was listening to a recent episode of featuring one of our favorite DJs, and he said something that stuck with me—your venue layout plays a huge role in the energy of your reception.

Let me back up for a second. Hazelwood really is that “just right” kind of space. Not too big, not too small. It works beautifully for intimate micro weddings and big celebrations for up to 150 guests…and it was intentionally designed for wedding day flow.

And that includes your party.

Because here’s the thing… if your guests are too spread out, the dance floor FEELS it.

We love that while we have outdoor spaces like the patios and fire pit, they’re not so far removed that people disappear from the celebration. Everything stays connected. This is key!!!

A dreamiest Sunday brunch wedding for Tori + Gunther from September and I’m still not over it.

Tori has impeccable taste, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at her ideas as she brought this day to life was such a privilege. You could just tell from the start… this wedding was going to be thoughtful, intentional, and absolutely stunning. Getting a quick text from Tori to see the design project she was working on would make my day. 🥰

Guests were welcomed with mimosas + light bites (honestly… who doesn’t want to start a wedding this way?!) as they passed by the black + white photo displays and the garden gazebo with live musicians setting the tone.
