It starts with getting ready. Friends in matching pjs, laughter, the calm before it all begins.

You both have your own separate space (two on-site suites!!) to relax—with drinks, with friends, or even with the game on.

Outside, the pink trees are in full bloom and the sun is out. Your vows can happen on the open lawn, with our first covered patio right next to it in case the weather has other plans. Cocktail hour moves to our second covered patio, full of smiles and lots of catching up.

Then comes the reception. The space becomes the backdrop for parent dances, first dances, and raised glasses, natural beauty all around you. It’s effortless. The night winds down with a packed dance floor and a send off under the stars.

We’ve got a handful of spring 2027 dates still open, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’ve been picturing a spring wedding, this is your sign to grab a tour before the calendar fills in!

POV: your dance floor stays full all night 😜🥂

I was listening to a recent episode of featuring one of our favorite DJs, and he said something that stuck with me—your venue layout plays a huge role in the energy of your reception.

Let me back up for a second. Hazelwood really is that “just right” kind of space. Not too big, not too small. It works beautifully for intimate micro weddings and big celebrations for up to 150 guests…and it was intentionally designed for wedding day flow.

And that includes your party.

Because here’s the thing… if your guests are too spread out, the dance floor FEELS it.

We love that while we have outdoor spaces like the patios and fire pit, they’re not so far removed that people disappear from the celebration. Everything stays connected. This is key!!!

Many couples want the packed dance floor. The late-night snacks. Cozy hangout spots. All within reach of the heart of the party: the music and the people.

It’s one of the things our couples notice most once the night gets going.
