🥕🩺 Healthy communities need both access to healthcare and access to healthy food.

This week is both National Health Center Week and National Farmers Market Week, and this morning I celebrated by visiting the Crescent City Farmers Market with a friend.

She left with bags full of fresh vegetables and plans to make a homemade ratatouille this week. 🌿🍅🥒

That made me smile because healthy choices often begin with one conversation, one invitation, or one shared experience.

Community health centers like CrescentCare and St. Thomas Community Health Center help make healthcare more accessible. Farmers markets help make fresh, local food more accessible.

Together, they strengthen healthier communities.

Sometimes, all it takes is one invitation to make a healthier choice. 💜
