Today was my 200th proposal!🍾

The Expert team helped me create a truly magical backdrop for Don to propose to Kansas inside the stunning sanctuary of Hotel Peter and Paul.

He wanted it to feel like their first date at Avery Island… but in August heat we had to do it inside. So what did we do? We brought the swamp indoors!

I’m sure I’ll write a post gushing about how proud I am of my team. But I need a nap first. 😅🥱

Jordan loves antiquing and vintage records. And Martin wanted to create a moment that was so unique and so surprising she never saw it coming.

Enter the Proposal Expert team!

We set up a fake antique sale with an antique gramophone. But it was late in the day and most of the items had already been sold… hence a blocked off area where shoppers weren’t allowed.

Martin asked to see the gramophone in action, the antique salesperson gave it a crank, and as soon as the couple’s song crackled through the speaker, the entire scene changed.

It may not look like much to you. But it looks like regaining a whoooole lot of space at my house to me. 😅

I finally moved the Expert decor into storage! It’s a work in progress (just like most of us, eh?) but soon I’ll have a complete catalogue of proposal options and a sleek system for locating all of the things. 😍

I’ll be visiting this spot several times this week for some truly unique, one-of-a-kind, definitely never done before proposal experiences!
