Today, March 16, 2022 was my due date to give birth to my first born. and I couldn’t wait until today to see how a new baby boy OR a new baby girl would change our world forever.

In my mind, no matter the gender, the scenario of 2 Pisces against 1 Virgo in my household was going to be interesting and fun. Lord forbid it be 2 Pisces females! 😂🤣😊

All of the plans we had. All of the preparations we started. All of the excitement we felt. It all ended on September 30, 2021.

It was on that day, instead, that our world did indeed change forever. On that day, instead, our Montana Hendrix Lewis entered this world peacefully and exited the same.

I’ve been trying to prepare myself mentally for this day all year. The truth is I’m still heartbroken 💔, I’m still angry 😡, I’m still crying often 😭. There was and is no way truly to prepare yourself for a pain like this.

I’ll end by saying that YES I’m still a roller coaster of emotions, but I do have some thanksgiving in my heart. I do thank God for the experience of pregnancy, no matter how short lived it was. I do thank God for bringing my body and life safely through my miscarriage.

Today will always be an emotional stamp in my life. I just pray that the pain feels less and less as time passes! Today I remember you in my heart, mind, body and soul Montana!

On this somber day of thanksgiving for me, through it ALL I really wouldn’t be the business woman that I am and the person that I am without So I’m sooo thankful today for God blessing me with my rock! I hope you all have one of these in your life to be thankful for on today! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I didn’t know if I even wanted to share this… but and I decided that we were going to be transparent through our healing process so that we can help others as well as ourselves! It’s only been 15 days since I’ve given brith to our first born child and lost him in the same breath… I never knew that there was a pregnancy and infant loss awareness month (October) or an infant loss awareness day (today) until recently! So sending comfort and healing to all of the parents who have gone through the horrible experience of losing an infant or pregnancy! It definitely changes you in some form or fashion! I’m thankful for my health and for all of the positives that this were baby boy was able to give me! I’ll always love, think about and hold my Montana Hendrix dear to my heart!😢😘
