Mona’s Accents Florist is looking to grow our team!

We are hiring a part-time experienced floral designer that is available 16-30 hours/week (extra hours may be available depending on workload) including 1-2 Saturdays/month.

Must be available to work extra hours over holidays.

You will be expected to design, answer phones, help customers, clean, process flowers and plants and occasionally enter orders on computer. Our store hours are M-F 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-2pm.

Happy Fun Fact Friday! ✨ Back at it again with another possibly unknown fact about the floral world! 🌻 Here we go! Sunflowers are allopathic, meaning, they give off toxins (terpenes and various phenolic compounds) from all their parts (roots, leaves, stems, flowers, seeds, etc.) that impede the growth of other plants or even kill them. Seems fitting to call them a "smooth criminal". You know what they say...beauty kills! ☺️
