A wine tasting benefit o support the Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership was held on September 15, 2013 at Chief Justice John Marshall’s estate, Oak Hill, in beautiful Fauquier County, Virginia.

Attendees enjoyed an evening of fabulous wine and light fare while learning about the history of the home, the restoration process, and took tours of Oak Hill. The evening also included a fun silent auction.

Conference theme: History Through the Arts and Humanities. Held in Frederick, MD utilizing four venues in the arts district. Workshop sessions focused on getting featured on
the social commerce leading website Living Social, the impact of cinema on society's impression of history, and best practices
in securing grants. It also included a networking event at the Visitor Center and a field session tour of Antietam National Battlefield Park
and the Newcomer House, Monocacy National Battlefield Park, and the National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
