Intimate Weddings was created by Emily Sullivan Events, who has specialized in Destination New Orleans weddings for the past 11 years. Over time, owner, Emily, recognized a growing need for clients who want a fabulous NOLA wedding without the hassle of long term planning and long guest lists. She assembled a team of exceptional venues and wedding creatives to offer an all inclusive destination for gorgeous intimate weddings and elopements.

This year was a very different and difficult year for the wedding and events industry.  We were fortunate to be able to create memorable wedding days for several couples in 2020 and we continue to plan for the coming year even as things remain uncertain.

We never thought we would have to rearrange an almost entire year’s worth of weddings in a matter of days in March (all while Emily was fighting covid) and we want to thank each ESE client for their patience and understanding throughout the year as we’ve learned and adapted. Our passion is to create a dream day for every couple so thank you for allowing us to do that.

We also want to extend our sincerest gratitude to all of the venues and vendors for helping us and the entire New Orleans wedding community to continue to move forward.  We could never do what we do without all of you.
