I love painting faces at the Faubourg Brewery special events. It is such a peaceful and fun place, with a lot of kids, great music, you can bring your own food and have a picnic - just buy the beer from them, it is really good. They are dog-friendly and you can bring your fur babies on a leash. It has a great communal vibe, like a small local festival - but often with world-famous NOLA musicians. Lots of space to dance and for kids to run around, this is my new "safe place" on my astral journeys. W just had Deadhead weekend, next weekend is Holiday Extravaganza with the Christmas Market, Little Freddy King is playing Saturday about 4-6.
