Last week I had the opportunity to speak to a few students who were reading the book we spoke about the book and cultural preservation. When passing on tradition is vital to the survival of the heritage and heart of New Orleans. Always grateful to pass on knowledge and inspire. It’s beyond food! It’s about culture, community, and celebration of our very being.

This year felt like it went by so quickly. My son graduated with honors and made me the proudest mom ever, I met my Sugar , I fished and I fished and I fished some more 🤣 caught the BIG fish for the second year in a row 🤪 . I climbed, I cooked amazing food, I shared the gift that god gave me to help others more times than I can count this year, Blessed to be a blessing, I had to see a hand surgeon for a knife whoopsie 🤣, and I shared space with humans I’m so very grateful to call friends. Looking forward to all of the beautiful things to come. Happy New Year errrrbody. ✨

Listennnnn a time was had at this year’s Love Jones Experience 🥰. 5 courses, paired cocktails, poetry anddddd burlesque. If you missed it.. I hope you keep your eyes open for what may be on the horizon 😏. Big shout out to your vision came to life and It’s only up 👏🏽 . Big big shouts to all of the amazingly talented people who made this night even better 📸 with the dope shots.

I’m usually working most of my events all the way through because I want to make sure every event goes off without a problem. This time I set up and stepped away and trusted that the people I put in place would make it happen and they did. Thank you .go.day and Tony macaroni for ensuring that my clients had an amazing experience 🥰💪🏽. I appreciate you guys so very much.

Sometimes I get to do really amazing things with amazing humans. I’ve wanted to learn about open fire cooking for a while and I appreciate for having me apart of such a dope experience. Can’t wait to get out there with yall again 😊
