As Policy & Outreach Manager for the New Orleans Mayor’s Office of Nighttime Economy, Julia Heath is working to ensure music remains a thriving career path in the Crescent City. From launching the Tune-Up Grant Program for venues to leading the New Orleans Music Census, Julia builds bridges between artists, government, and industry.

Her career spans venue operations, festival production, and national advocacy, including helping secure $150M in federal relief for independent venues in California. She also serves on the board of NITECAP, advancing safe and vibrant nighttime economies nationwide.

To date, SoundExchange has paid more than $11 billion in distributions.
