National Whiskey Day calls for a big toast 🥃

In case you missed it, last month, we were honored to host , and one of the many highlights of the event was ! Did you get your pic on the Family Photos wall or make a custom bead bracelet? We know lots of you did, those stations were non-stop!

What a time it was! From delicious pours to jaw-dropping cocktails, whiskey was at the heart of it all.

So many of the couples who come through Latrobe’s reference their loved ones as their inspiration for healthy marriages, finding their soulmates, building long-lasting families, and so much more.

The photos that show family resemblance, the veil being used for the third time, the grandparents whose marriage lasted decades…

It does more than pull at your heartstrings, it brings the past to the present and the couple’s ancestors into the room 🫂

Everyone was simply gushing about the love these two share, and their ceremony and reception reflected that.

Fun facts: Ivy’s father worked across the street and has known us since before Emma and Ivy met!

Our close proximity is what brought Emma and Ivy’s wedding to Latrobe’s 💚

Our beautiful, classic building was designed by Benjamin Henry Latrobe, who designed many other iconic U.S. buildings.

Originally the Louisiana State Bank, our building has lived many lives:

An antique store 🧳

A ladies’ Turkish bathhouse 🛁

An art gallery 🖼️

And now a historic landmark, preserving the legacy of Benjamin Henry Latrobe 🏆
