Autumn is just around the corner, and with it, the fall wedding season begins next week. I’ve had the pleasure of calling this magical city home for over seven years now. In moments of quiet reflection, I’ve thought about the remarkable achievements I’ve experienced since my arrival. New Orleans embraced me with open, familiar arms, assuring me that I belonged here. It handed me a key and told me to stay, inspiring me to make her proud.

What I’ve built during these past years is the beginning of something much greater. A love-filled business, the Chapel, and exciting ventures yet to come. My life has always been rich and vibrant, and I’m not one to settle. There’s so much I wish to explore, do, and learn, on both sides of the ocean🇬🇧. I’m truly grateful for all the wonderful people I hold dear in my heart, the guardians of this land, my ancestors and guides, my amazing community, and my sisters. Here’s to a kind loving remainder of 2026 & a fabulous wedding season! 🥂🥂❤️

Allen and Denise’s love story is truly inspiring! From the very start, their lives were woven together by invisible threads. They crossed paths as teenagers in high school during the 70s, but the timing wasn’t quite right for a romantic relationship. Although there was a
spark, they never went on a date, just holding hands on a school field trip that
neither of them ever forgot.

The universe aligned perfectly to bring them together decades later. Brandon X-Istence Xuereb and I had the privilege to be a part of their very special elopement one sunny evening at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel ❤️

The ceremony was just a glimpse of the deep and profound love that Destiny and Jamari share, not only for each other but also for their wonderful families. The chapel was filled with generations of love, grace, and joy. Reflecting on this moment and viewing a snapshot of their day brings tears to my eyes. It was truly a privilege to witness such love.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been travelling, exploring, and recharging. I’ve also been preparing for a busy fall wedding season.

I’ve never been the type to just slam my laptop shut. I truly enjoy what I do, and being away makes me excited about the life I’ve built and the one I’m continuing to create. It’s a life without borders, where work never feels like a chore, regardless of how many days, nights, and weekends I dedicate to it. I love my couples and my vocation. But, growth and creativity thrive outside of the constant and familiar. I’ve never settled—not out of discontentment, but out of curiosity and a desire to live with intention.

The is something I take great pride in. It has enriched my life and brought joy to everyone who has experienced its warmth. The Chapel serves as a reminder for me to continue heeding the call of my ancestors and to keep creating. On this new moon night, I’m setting my intentions and preparing to put in the effort for another beautiful, love-filled endeavour. 💜💜💜
