I love when my destination clients are in town! We packed a lot into the day, starting at the always-impressive Distressed Rentals & Revival warehouse, followed by a delicious cake tasting at Gambino’s Bakery .

Then we revisited the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum to remember everything they loved about their ceremony venue, stopped by the Omni Royal Orleans to see the new updates their guests will enjoy, and wrapped up the day with lunch together.

Best of all, we get to hangout together and have so much fun!

So many moments on your wedding day are special, but one of my favorites is the getting-ready portion of the day.

It’s the moment when the dress goes on, her favorite people are there to help, and she realizes, “I’m really about to get married.”

As a planner, I make sure I’m present and hands-on during this experience. This part of the day should feel peaceful, joyful, and sacred—not rushed or chaotic.

If you’re currently planning your wedding, here is my advice, set 30 minutes aside in your timeline to be dressed by one or two of your closest family members or friends. Take a moment to slow down, breathe, and soak in the fullness of what’s happening.

For this particular bride, that meant being surrounded by her mom and sister. Watching them help her get dressed, laugh together, and take in the moment was such a beautiful reminder that a wedding day isn’t just about the big moments—it’s about the people who helped you get there. 🤍

Just like that, my maternity leave has officially come to an end. 🤍

I’ve had the opportunity to spend the last several weeks soaking in newborn cuddles, adjusting to life with three amazing little loves, and simply enjoying this sweet season with my family. It went by way too fast!

My Sip & See was the perfect official close to this season, so I had to share a little peek at the beautiful day. 🤍 My sweet friend Jacquole Landry Johnson hosted and designed the celebration for baby Mason, and she poured so much love and thought into every detail. It was such a special way to celebrate this new chapter surrounded by the people we love.

And now… it’s time to get back to work! 😂

I’m so excited to be back and preparing for an amazing fall 2026 wedding season. Cheers to beautiful weddings ahead, amazing clients, and another exciting season of Red Magnolia Weddings & Events! 🥂✨
