Hey Y'all, It's Give NOLA Day.
On this, the day our city seems to ask us to give thanks for the things we enjoy about living here, I can't help but remind you that the revolution will not be televised-- but you CAN hear about it in real time, on FM radio, here in New Orleans.
From basic human rights to the complexities of for-profit care, 102.3 FM, WHIV-LP uses every last one of its 100 watts to uplift independent voices in our local community, and educate anyone with a heart about what it will take to END ALL WARS.
Started by a local doctor to help provide resources for HIV Care, over 60 showhosts and content curators keep our signal on around the clock, bringing the stories the big stations won't cover, delivering music that celebrates our rich and diverse cultures, and empowering listeners with resources to break free from unwitting complicity in systemic oppression.
But such great work is impossible without help, and your donation this Give NOLA Day will help provide the hardware and necessities that keep the station on the air.

There are many fine causes to support, But here's one that strives to pay direct dividends by keeping great content, and further helping support other causes by amplifying the voices of those fighting good fights all year long.
GiveNOLA Day, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event. For 24 hours, everyone who loves our region can support their favorite local causes by donating to one or more of 700+ participating nonprofit organizations.
