After a great deal of reflection, we’re sharing that Crimson Quarter and LUXXE by Crimson Quarter will be closing this chapter as we step into new opportunities within the wedding and events industry.
This decision comes from a place of clarity, not defeat.
For years, our work has centered on couples who are beautifully untraditional, frequently marginalized, and too often overlooked by an industry still learning how to fully embrace all forms of love. Serving those couples has always been the heart of what we do—and that will never change.
What is changing is our focus.
The New Orleans wedding industry is, in many ways, deeply talented and historic. But it is also highly insular—cliquish, closed-door, and often resistant to anything that challenges the status quo. That reality affects not only planners, but couples as well: especially those whose love stories, identities, budgets, aesthetics, or family structures don’t fit neatly into a traditional box.
We’ve felt that tension for years.
And we’ve also seen the enormous gap it creates.
So we are choosing to devote our full creative energy to work that fills that void.
Work that is more deeply aligned with what we believe matters most: equity, artistry, inclusion, immersive storytelling—and experience.
That focus will take shape through a more holistic, full-service approach to planning and design: not just the wedding day, but the entire journey. From wedding and ring shopping, to welcome events, to hidden gem music venues, unique rehearsal dinner spaces, and multi-day celebrations that are as intentional as they are unforgettable.
And to be clear—we’re not going anywhere.
We remain here in the French Quarter, rooted in the city we love, continuing to build, create, and serve in New Orleans. This city will always be our muse. There is no place more magical to get married—the history, the music, the architecture, the joy, the romance. But we believe there is room—and a real need—for something different here.
We are profoundly grateful to every couple who trusted us with their stories, every collaborator who shared their talent, and every person who supported this journey.
This is not an ending.
It’s a turning of the page.
With gratitude,
Brandon & Team
