I am proud to have the opportunity to emcee the 3 time winner of WV Living Magazine's Best Festival in WV, Back Home Festival. For the 9th time, we will see downtown New Martinsville turn in to a unique festival venue and will invite everyone Back Home! I hope to see you all the last weekend of June!

Season 3 of Wetzel County Idol was a great success. Each year I am amazed at how many greatly talented people from our area step up to compete. I'm extremely lucky to have one of the best seats in the house as the Master of Ceremonies. To see these artists grow round after round, and sometimes, year after year is wonderful. I am proud of the way that everyone supports each other. Everyone has kind words of support for each other. Last night, Crows Company put on a clinic of how to win. The cash prize is nothing to sneeze at, but the spot on the big stage at Back Home Festival is the big prize in my eyes. Crows Company will put on a show for the ages this summer. The creation of art is never really a competition. Every finalist could've taken the title this year. Rustbelt Radio, Casey Minor, and David Chichick Jr all gave excellent performances last night and I hope they consider entering next year. If you see any of these people on a marquee, rest assured you're in for a great show. Congratulations again to Crows Company! I can't wait to announce ya'll to the stage at Back Home 2026!

We had a great time at the 2nd Annual Kraken Record's Halloween Dance Party and Costume contest! Thanks to all who participated and thanks to the local businesses and organizations that sponsored the event. Can't wait until October 2026 to do it again!

We are all set up and the weather is going to cooperate for a fun, free event on Jefferson Street in beautiful downtown New Martinsville this evening for the Witches and Wizards Ball! Thanks to Kraken Records, Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, Moose, New Martinsville Rotary, Hero Plumbing, and Elizabeth Seckman for their sponsorship and bringing something fun to downtown for our local children and families!

Be sure to mark this listening party on your calendar! Our friend Josh at Chiselfinger Entertainment will be bringing some equipment down to play the new album right outside our store while Ryan grills up some hot dogs for everyone at the listening party. There will be exclusive sticker sheets to all in attendance while supplies last, and one lucky winner will take home an autographed TC art print!

Now then — The Witches and Wizards Ball is of course a chance for us all to let our hair down. But that does NOT mean, that we will be relaxing the standards of behaviour we expect from Hogwarts students. I will be most seriously displeased if a Gryffindor student embarrasses the school in any way.

Thank you to the Book Store and other local businesses for creating a chance for us all to celebrate the magic of Harry Potter! Hope to see you all in attendance!

Jayda and I had a great time bringing the beats to the Father/Daughter Dance Glow Party this year. DJ Jayda tore it up with her set and we had a lot of fun. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
