Another sold out Saturday, and my heart is so full. 🤍

Thank you for showing up for us for our second week back at the market!

When I started growing flowers, I never imagined how much they would connect me to people. Some bouquets leave with you for birthdays, dance recitals, anniversaries, and celebrations. Others are chosen for no reason at all except to brighten someone’s day. Being trusted with those little moments is something I’ll never take for granted.

This morning was especially sweet because Hazel helped me run the booth. I’ve always been protective of sharing her online, but she’s the reason behind so much of what I do. She spent the morning greeting customers, helping with flowers, and soaking in all the kindness this community has to offer. Seeing her experience the market through her own eyes reminded me why these Saturdays mean so much.

The Downtown Albemarle Farmers Market has become one of my favorite traditions—not because we sell flowers, but because of the people. Customers who have become friends, fellow vendors who feel like family, familiar faces who stop by to say hello, and neighbors who choose to support local businesses.

Thank you for every bouquet, every conversation, every encouraging word, and for another sold out Saturday. You make this little flower farm feel like something much bigger than flowers.

See you next week. 💐

🌿 Second week back at the market, and the buckets are finally starting to feel like summer. 🌿

This season has asked for a little extra patience, but seeing these blooms come together makes every early morning and muddy boot worth it. From the first dahlias and lavender to the sweet feverfew, celosia, amaranth, and garden fillers, I’m settling into the rhythm of flower season again.

Every stem was grown, harvested, and gathered right here on my little farm with so much care. Thank you to everyone who stopped by last week, took home flowers, shared kind words, or simply cheered us on. Your support means more than you know.

I’ll be back at the Downtown Albemarle Farmers Market this Saturday with fresh-cut flowers, lavender bundles, eucalyptus, and farm-fresh eggs while supplies last.

She’s back. 🌸 (I mean me…it’s me, I’m back)

It’s been a hard growing season over here in so many ways. An unusually long heat streak in April sent my cool-weather blooms dormant earlier than I’d hoped, and I’ve been watching and waiting ever since to see if I’d have enough to come to market.

And now I do!! And I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow.

I’m bringing sunflowers, dahlias, lavender, eucalyptus Parvifolia, and a lovely mix of filler florals — all grown right here. It’s a smaller haul than usual, but every stem is grown with love, free of pesticides & herbicides, harvested to industry standards and given the utmost care.

Come find me bright and early *tomorrow* morning ☀️ — Saturday, 8AM–12PM at the Albemarle Downtown Farmers Market, 501 W Main Street. Stems are limited this week, so early birds get the best picks. DM me if you’d like to reserve ahead.

I’ve missed this. I’ve missed all of you! 🌻

For a long time, I kept this story close to my chest. Not because I was ashamed — but because it was hard. Really hard.

I’m one of 4 women selected as a 2026 She Means Business honoree, and this feature shares something I’ve never said publicly: that Miss Catie’s Blooms didn’t begin with a business plan. It began in the middle of a health crisis — years of symptoms dismissed, a diagnosis of endometriosis, infertility treatments, a pregnancy complicated by IIH, and a flare that took nearly two years of my life.

And it wasn’t just my health. That season brought other losses too — relationship challenges and grief that I was carrying all at once, often in silence.

I had always been driven. Career-focused, ambitious, someone who found identity and purpose in achievement. Stepping away from that wasn’t a choice — it was something that was taken from me. And for a long time, I didn’t know who I was without it.

The garden became my safe place. What started as something small — just dirt and seeds and a reason to go outside — became the most unexpected kind of therapy. I didn’t know then that I was healing. I just knew that something was growing, and that I had a part in it. Looking back, that soil was doing as much for me as I was doing for it.

What I found in those rows of flowers wasn’t just a hobby. It was a new kind of purpose — a passion I never planned for, a pivot that gave shape to a life that looked nothing like I’d imagined. And somehow, it fit better than anything I’d built before.

I won’t pretend the journey is finished. I’m in another pivotal season right now — one where even the garden has been struggling to grow. I’m still figuring out the path, still working toward the alignment that makes this not just a passion, but a truly sustainable life and career. It’s not wrapped up neatly. But I’m still here. Still planting.

If you’ve been through medical trauma, or had your path rerouted by something you never asked for — this one’s for you. Something beautiful can still bloom. 🌸

A big thank you to for helping me share this part of my story. ✨

The bouquets get photographed forever — but what we really design for are the moments in between. 🤍

The nervous laughter with your bridesmaids.
The veil adjustments.
The first look.
The hands reaching toward the bouquet before you walk down the aisle.

Those are the moments we think about while designing.

One of the sweetest parts of this work is getting to know the couples and the families behind them — celebrating alongside you all during such meaningful seasons of life never gets old.

Now booking 2026 weddings for couples across North Carolina. ✨

Derby Days with Young Affiliates of the Mint — what a moment.

From fascinators to florals, every detail was designed to feel playful, romantic, and just a little over the top (as it should be). Watching so many of you step into the Bloom Bar, style your own pieces, and fully lean into the experience was the highlight.

Grateful to be part of such a beautifully curated event and an even better community.

More moments like this, always. 🌸
