Happy 1 July everyone! It’s going to be a hot 4th! Bring it on! Recently we lost a good lady. Kathryn Ann I’ll miss you. You along with others, helped put the interior back together again! You along with Joyce S helped pull nails from the damaged old floors, you washed windows, painted and scrubbed the place clean again! BJ helped me paint up high ( those 15 ft ceilings I could not do!) Neighbors helping neighbors. That’s what we used to do in this small farming community! When did that cease being the norm? The flag is out today on the building. Take time to reflect on your time spent at this old school and now a community building ( temporarily closed.). RIP all those who walked these floors and laughed and played and cooked up some good meals to share! Rebecca Briscoe Yager you helped DD and I get started and scrubbed and cleaned along with the rest of us!
