Congratulations to Jess and Jordan, whose wedding I officiated at the People’s Gas Education Pavilion in Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL on Aug. 15th, 2026! Those pups, Cider and Max, are central to the life they’ve already built together, so they also had a central role in the ceremony. Family also means so much to them, so a niece and 3 nephews were asked to participate in their unity planting ceremony by adding special stones to the soil. Love never fails. ❤️

They wanted an intimate occasion with their closest loved ones, and then they dashed off with their photographer to get some canyon bridal shots, and hopefully beat the rain that seemed to want to fall. Congratulations to Max and Mariah, whose wedding I officiated on July 25th, 2026 The Allure on The Lake in Chesterton, IN! Their lakeside ceremony felt easy and breezy. The only “risky” part was having their golden retriever puppy Honey be the ring-bearer but she nailed it, (Mariah said, “that went way better than I expected!”) and stole the show. Love never fails. ❤️
