Congratulations to Melanie and Zack whose baby boy I baptized on February 23, 2024 in their home. This is the third ceremony I have performed for this family and it’s one of my favorite aspects of this work… Getting to see families grow with each ceremony I do for them. Love never fails. ❤️

It was another lovely year of ceremonies during the Skydeck Chicago Love on the Ledge event on Feb. 9th, 2025! Congratulations to Carlos and Carolina, Carla and Tyrent, Eflin and Gabriel, and Wuarez and Minnie! This is the 9th year officiating ceremonies for this event, and it is one of my favorite mornings, every year. Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to Haley and Trey, whose wedding I officiated on Jan. 18th, 2025 Salvatore's in the heart of Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL! We laughed and we cried during their elegant ceremony. The chairs were full and I heard many sniffles and chuckles amongst them too. What a lovely way to start 2025 weddings. Also, Haley’s cathedral length veil, dotted with pearls, was a stunner. Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to the couple whose private ceremony I officiated on December 30th, 2024 at the Morton Arboretum, Lisle, IL. They wanted a hand-fasting ceremony, and they got emotional as they shared their personal vows. The weather could not have been more agreeable, considering it is late December. It was a soft, sweet ending to 2024 weddings. Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to Kelly and Marc, whose wedding I officiated on Nov. 30th, 2024 Mesón Sabika in Naperville, IL! Marc was escorted down the aisle by his daughters and Kelly was escorted down the aisle by her son. We shared parts of their story in the ceremony and celebrated them as a couple, but also, the celebration was about the community of loved ones they’ve gathered throughout their lives that surround and support them. The air had the perfect autumn crispness for the final weekend of October, and for this couple’s elegant outdoor ceremony with their loved ones. “Here Comes the Sun” was a processional song, and was a perfect choice for this bright and shining celebration.
