Their thoughtful ceremony included a new to us unity idea…they made a custom trail mix, with each ingredient, like nuts or candy, having a meaning, and then they shared the mix with their guests. Brilliant! Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to Clara and Ignacio, whose wedding I officiated on May 31, 2026 The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL! He is from Mexico, and she is from Vietnam, but they met here in Chicago, and while the language barrier was an obstacle for them, it was one they worked hard to overcome because they knew they had each found the one in one another. I love that the ceremony script was printed for their guests in three languages: English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to Peter and April, whose vow renewal I officiated on May 31st, 2026, The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL! They are celebrating 15 years of marriage. I officiated their original ceremony as well, along with other family events. Her brother, who lives across the country, surprised them with his presence by coordinating with me too. This couple and their family mean so much to me and I am so happy that they called upon me to again be a little part of a big memory. Love never fails. ❤️

Congratulations to Miranda and Eduardo whose wedding I officiated on May 30th, 2026 in Chicago, IL! The VIP of their bridal party was their pup, Springstein, and they even included him in their unity water ceremony, where they took blue water, which represented Eduardo, and yellow water, which represented Miranda, and made green, which represents their new life together, but also acknowledged the life that they have already made as a household of three. Love never fails. ❤️
