Owner and operator Ryan Wooley has been packing dance floors at special events for nearly 20 years as a professional DJ. He got his first start in the DJ booth at roller skating rink in Westland Michigan before branching out and taking his show on the road for weddings, graduation parties, corporate events, and more. He also is no stranger to the microphone as he was a local radio sportscaster in

the Metro-Detroit area for both 97.1 “The Ticket” and WWJ Newsradio 950 for 13 years, and still handles play by play for Eastern Michigan University's men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball on ESPN+. He is also the color analyst for high school football and basketball on 93.5 WHMI. The Tigers are back home following the All Star Break and I’m back on the 🎙️ for tonight’s series opener with the Royals.

I also have the honor of introducing Dan Dickerson and others in appreciation for their service to Ilitch Sports and Entertainment during the pregame which is a full circle moment for me, as I worked with Dan for many years while at 97.1 and he has always been one of the nicest guys in the business and always took the time to talk with me about my career and my family.

Back on the mic today for three games as it’s “Big League Dream Day” at Comerica Park. First game starts at 10am between the Great Lakes Legends and Kalamazoo Royals.

Then at 1pm it’s the Downriver Hawks battling the SC Hornets.

And to close out the days action at 4pm it will be the Lasalle Titans and Hitz Baseball.
