I've been quiet for a while. Not because I stepped away from what I love, but because I was rebuilding. My life, my home and my career, from the ground up back here in Michigan.
If you've been around a minute, you know I spent time building my career in Saint Louis. Coming back home meant starting over in a lot of ways and I've spent the last stretch doing that work privately. Reconnecting with this community, taking on projects that actually light me up and figuring out exactly who I want to create for going forward.
That means I'm also letting some things go. Some of the work I used to say yes to, the clients that weren't the right fit, the noise that didn't serve where I'm headed. I'm releasing all of it. Not with resentment, just with clarity. I know my vision now, and I'm building around it on purpose.
So here's the news! I'm back full-time. Photography, video, retouching and marketing services all under one roof, all with the intention and craft I've spent over a decade sharpening.
A couple weeks ago, I got a new office and creative space in Wixom (by appointment only, it is a shared space) that's already become one of my favorite places to work. My calendar has opened up in a way it hasn't in years and for the first time in a long time, I genuinely feel like myself when I'm working.
