If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind place to tie the knot, this hidden gem is 35 minutes west of Evansville, 30 minutes east of Harrisburg, 20 miles north of the Kentucky state line and half the $$$ of comparable tristate venues. The fully air-conditioned 1860s Appalachian-style barn has a beautiful hayloft chapel always available in the event of oppressive heat or rain.
The 80’x42’ pavilion has an 18’x18’ checkerboard dance floor beneath a unique carriage/chandelier. There is no charge for the dressing areas in our circa 1900 Queen Anne farmhouse and our top-of-the-world view from the second story deck is unrivaled, as is the complimentary homemade Saturday brunch for the wedding party. There’s plenty of space for yard games, fireworks and food trucks, with six bedrooms available for overnight guests, and free ice. Absolutely zero wedding hall vibes.
