“Grit opens doors even when systems don’t.”

This powerful idea from my recent discussion at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs with Teresa Chahine and Elizabeth Gore is a reality for so many of us women in business. But our work doesn’t stop at opening the door for ourselves. Our purpose is to redesign the entire system.

I’m thrilled to be featured in the “The Widening Path for Women Entrepreneurs” article which captures the essence of this mission. My work is dedicated to building enterprises where wellbeing is the business model and social and economic sustainability are the outcomes.

Imagine being IN THE ROOM for a brainstorming session with legends like Gladys West, Madam C.J. Walker, Annie Turnbo Malone, and Maggie Lena Walker! Talk about a POWER lunch!… Gladys, who’d probably say, “Let’s map out the future!” Madam would chime in with, “First, let’s ensure we look fabulous!” Annie would keep us focused, while Maggie would remind us to turn those hurdles into stepping stones!

This month, we celebrate the intertwining themes of love, compassion, and historical significance. As we flow in February, my heart is filled with warmth and excitement, marking BLOOM’s full return after a rejuvenating winter break…Starting with Valentine’s Day, which was a whirlwind! My deepest sentiments to ALL of our customers for choosing us to design for your beLOVED ones.
The floral designs were inspired by the vibrant tradition and arrival of Chinese New Year, in which we embrace the rich tapestry of culture that surrounds us.

February Collections also feature stunning sculptures—both artistic and tactile—that embody the essence of our community: poised, sturdy, and beautifully united.

Join us this month as we indulge in a season of love and celebration.
