They say politics and business shouldn’t mix. Well we’ve been pondering what to post both yesterday and today but promoting our business just hasn’t felt right in light of recent events. We frequently talk about how we are family owned and operated…which means we spend a lot of time with our loved ones. More time than most. So we have an insurmountable amount of empathy when it comes to families. We VALUE family. We VALUE community. We VALUE respect. This has shaken us to our very core. A husband, a father, a son, a friend was taken in such a brutal show of disregard for life. Today instead of using this platform for promotion we use it for mourning. We mourn with Erika. We mourn with all those who were and STILL are mourning 9/11.

The truth no one talks about…I’m sharing it ALL!

Trying to start off a business is HARD. Trying to start a business is DISCOURAGING. Trying to start a business and grow it is EXHAUSTING! You WILL fail SO many more times than you ever succeed. Trying to start a business will make you feel DEFEATED. 😭 Oh and did I mention, trying to compete with every other business who uses ChatGPT for every other post? (I’m not knocking it, I promise! But I would be lying if I said it doesn’t make you lose your emotional connection with your community. Maybe I’m partial! 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Thankfully, there is a BUT coming. And here it is. You only need ONE Yes. Just ONE.
Our yes has come from our community. The surrounding small towns who still care about supporting local instead of the big guys. The ones who still enjoy knowing their money is actually PROVIDING for a local family! So as we do almost every week. I want to say thank you again. This business startup has not exactly been smooth, but it’s been so rewarding showing our kids some hard work and perseverance AND making some really great friends!
