We’re so glad you’re here and wanted to introduce ourselves!

We are GigaBite BBQ — a family-run competition BBQ team passionate about great food, good people, and the BBQ community. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion and turned into a full competition BBQ journey.

Meet the team behind the smoke:
🔥 John — Owner, pitmaster, and smoker king! John is a veteran who works in IT by day and runs the smokers by night (and weekends). What started as casually smoking meats became a true passion for competition BBQ and perfecting the craft.

🔥 Colin — John’s sidekick and (much needed) voice of reason. John and Colin met while working together in IT and went from coworkers to competition teammates. He’s always ready to jump in wherever needed and keeps the team rolling.

🔥 Brittany — Social media manager, #1 taste tester, and the creative brain behind the scenes… plus John’s wife! From content and communications, to making sure everything tastes competition-ready, she helps bring GigaBite BBQ to life.

🔥 Other Family & Friends — Can’t forget to give special shout outs to our other honorary team members! Karen (Colin’s wife & dessert queen), Richard (Pops), our kids, and other friends who have supported us from the beginning and always step in to lend a hand (or their tastebuds)! We wouldn’t be GigaBite without you!

Took River City Sauces Habanaro Honey Fusion for a spin with a hot honey pepperoni & bacon pizza, and it absolutely delivered. Sweet heat, crispy bacon, and spicy pepperoni -- a little nod back to my culinary roots.

Short week 2 update...updated electrical in the space and updated the plumbing. Both plumbing and electrical contractors worked some miracles to fit all of our changes and get the space code compliant.
