You will find Carisa K Photography utilizing the unique space and gorgeous light at Source the Space for photography sessions, dance classes, and maybe even a homeschool class or two.
"I’ve spent over two decades capturing the unique personalities and quirks of people as well as their beloved pets through photography. There’s nothing more inspiring and joyful to me than documenting the bond between family members and between families and their animal companions. It’s truly where I feel most at home.
In 2015, I began a homeschooling program called Thrive Space, for Central PA homeschoolers and cyberschoolers. The program has grown to include my twin sister and another homeschooling mama as teacher guides. Thrive Space offers in-person classes and enrichment activities for tweens and teens.
As a seasoned entrepreneur, I thrive on building new ventures, exploring creative ideas, and branching out into new art forms. One of my favorite side projects? Teaching swing dance lessons through my twin sister’s dance company, The Rhythm Lounge. Dancing is the spark that keeps the fire in my soul burning.
When I’m not behind the lens, leading a class at Thrive Space, or attending a West Coast Swing or Lindy Hop dance event, you might find me writing, painting, or baking. Balancing all these passions means I’m constantly seeking new ways to blend creativity, discipline, and improvisation in everything I do.
And when I’m not doing any of that, you’ll likely find me with my favorite child, cozied up on a couch that’s too small, books in hand, and a scruffy dog snoring beside us.
