We here at DerpyCon are devastated over the loss of actor and director, Rob Reiner. Known for such works as "The Princess Bride", "This Is Spinal Tap", "When Harry Met Sally", "Misery", and "A Few Good Men", Mr. Reiner's work spanned genres and showcased an immense talent for storytelling. As an actor, he held his own as "Meathead" opposite the ever grumpy Archie Bunker, played by Carroll O'Connor, as well as other roles in "New Girl", "The Wolf of Wall Street", "30 Rock", and "Wizards of Waverly Place". His stories and talent inspired many, and he will be sorely missed.

Gil Gerard, best known as Captain William "Buck" Rogers in "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" has passed away from cancer at the age of 82. His body of work included "Sidekicks", "The Doctors", "Days of Our Lives", and more. We here at DerpyCon offer our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.

The DerpyCon community sends its condolences to the family and friends of Jim Ward. You may have heard him as Doug Dimmadome from Fairly Odd Parents, Stretch in the Casper series and movies, as well as voices in Ben 10 and many more.
He was a part of growing up for many, and he will surely be missed.

DerpyCon is a family-friendly and exciting convention of sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, and beyond… DerpyCon will be held at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The weekend event will have panels, LARPs, concerts, video gaming, cosplay, vendors, dances, table-top gaming, AMVs, and more!
