Wurstfest President Sherman Krause and Grosse Opa Eric Couch invite you to be our guest at the 2024 Wurstfest opening ceremony Friday, November 1. Experience a true Texas tradition as we officially kick off the 10-day-salute-to-sausage with the "biting of the sausage" and the "tapping the keg.”

Gates open at 4 p.m and ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.

🚧 WURSTFEST TRAFFIC ALERT 🚧 The westbound lane of Landa Street, from Zink Street to Landa Park Drive, will be closed to vehicles but open for pedestrians throughout the duration of Wurstfest. This closure is to ensure a safe path for foot traffic.

📅CLOSURE SCHEDULE
▪️ November 1: 2 p.m. – 1 a.m.
▪️ November 2: 9 a.m. – 2 a.m.
