Good morning everyone! Just wanted to remind you all that we have another Trailside takeout night happing soon. Next week on Thursday, the 25th. I think we’re bringing back the famous peanut butter and jelly burger. Get ready folks! This week is probably our busiest week of the season, wish us luck!

Tonight is the night. I just watered the flowers. They’re looking pretty good since we got them in before Mother’s Day. These dwarf sunflowers are poppin’ today!

I’m about to hit the kitchen and start with the prep work this morning. Lots to do and oh so little time to get it done.

Trailside Takeout, May 28th

The time has come again. Here we are, another summer ahead of us, a flat of flowers to be planted, and a rail of tickets to be cooked. Here we go again!

Takeout night is going to start at 4pm and last call at 8pm. We will be taking reservations or pre orders before hand. Call Melissa, 814-221-5617, today and tomorrow. Call the kitchen Thursday 814-275-4100.

Steak wrap with fries. $15
• to include peppers, mushrooms, onions, lettuce, cheese, A1 Aioli.

Steak salad and breadstick. $15
• dressing choices are ranch and honey balsamic

Tenders with fries. $10
• sauce choices are ranch, buffalo, bbq, honey mustard.

Good morning and happy Mother’s Day! Today is the big day. Ready or not here it comes, but we’re ready! We’ve spent all week preparing for this one big super special event.

Turns out, if you didn’t make a reservation we might be able to take some walk-ins today. If your group is around 4 or smaller, chances are higher.

We’re gonna get some food going this morning! Can’t wait t see you all today and thanks for coming!

MOTHER’S DAY!

It’s been a wild week so far!! Getting ready for the big day is a lot of work. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and we are fully loaded! I even managed to grab a couple gluten free desserts and decided last minute to add some Cole slaw to the menu.

Today we all spent the day cleaning up around the building and we made our first trip to the greenhouse!

Tomorrow and Saturday are big prep days!

MOTHER’S DAY POST!

One week left until the biggest most specialest day of the year. You guessed it, Mother’s Day. Spaces on Momma B’s reservation booklet are filling up fast. I’m going shopping on Wednesday for fresh groceries and we’ll be prepping heavy in the kitchen all weekend. What an exciting week!

Here is the menu!

Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls with Whipped Honey Butter
Raw Marinated Veggie Salad
An Organic Greens Garden Salad
House-made Buttermilk Ranch
Our Famous Honey Balsamic
Honey French without all the HFCSBS
Buttery Mashed Golden Potatoes
Macaroni and Cheese, no green stuff for the kiddos
Garden Medley Vegetable(Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower)
Garlic Green Beans
Broccoli Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Chicken
Bourbon Honey Salmon
Beef Tips

All of the items listed above will be made without gluten, minus the Mac and cheese and dinner rolls.

There will be a marvelous display of sweet treats to choose from. Including a variety of brownies, cookies, and decorated cheesecakes. I will do my best to source a couple gluten free dessert options for our celiac friends to enjoy as well.

As for drinks we will have water service at your table, coffee available and will be brewing a barrel worth of sweet tea for the day. I will also procure some local sodas from our friends at Natrona Bottling and be sure to have a nice variety for you all to enjoy.

Adults will be $35 each. Kids 5-12 will be $15. Anyone under 5 years of age is a freebie. Drinks will be extra.

Leave a voicemail if needed and we will get back to you. Melissa can be reached at 814-221-5617. For the next couple weeks she will be taking her reservation sheets with her everywhere she goes!
