🎙️ Heads up, small business owners!

Scammers are getting more sophisticated—and it’s alarming. I just had another attempt targeting my recording studio. Someone tried to book 42 hours of studio time (yes, I was excited about the big paycheck)… until they sent this:

"Ok which financial institution are you with? I can actually have the front and back picture of my company paycheck emailed to you, then you make the deposit through your mobile bank app... it’s easy and fast without no hassle and I hope that’s fine with you?"

🚨 This is a classic scam tactic. They’re trying to trick you into depositing a fake check, then pulling your funds or gaining access to your account.

If you run a small business—stay alert. These scammers are targeting us with real-sounding inquiries, but the red flags are always in the payment method. Trust your gut, and don’t hesitate to verify before proceeding.
