So…you’ve heard of Happy Hour, but what about Europe’s famous Vermouth Hour?! 🍷

In Sicily, southern France, and throughout Spain, time stops in the afternoon to sip for velvety vermouth on ice paired with luscious prosciutto and cheeses. This is tradition, too, at The Beardslee Homestead in New Berlin.

Now, throughout July from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm come to Vermouth Hour and sample our hand-crafted Vermouth made from our own wine from our 2-acre vineyard. Relax and enjoy all that our 120-acre estate has to offer. Or, visit us tomorrow at ! 🤩

🍷🍷🍷 The Beardslee Homestead’s abbondanza harvest: nearly 200 pounds of Frontenac Red grapes at 22 average Brix and about pH 3 with the potential to yield nearly 100 bottles, even more if we make our specialty sweet vermouth as planned.

What a fun day with the Mayor Pete and Elaine Lennon and Jeff and Andrea Keller, aka Lucy Riccardo, and what a great Lucy. Fun fact: The Beardslee Homestead is only a few miles from Lucille Ball’s summer house on Chenango Lake! Also, Happy Birthday Elaine! Thank you for spending it with us 🥳😊✨.
