Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️

Today we celebrate the heart of Irish tradition of music, and the stories that live on through generations. There’s no better way to honor that than by keeping the tradition alive in song. “Lady of Knock” is one of the most beautiful and meaningful songs in Irish history, and I’m proud to share it today in that spirit.

As we celebrate, we also remember those who are no longer with us. “May the road rise up to meet them, and may they rest in the gentle arms of Ireland forever.”

Still taking it all in. I’m incredibly honored to have received the 🏆 Paul P. Swain Service & Achievement Award from the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of New Bedford. Being recognized by an organization that means so much to me and our community is something I will never take for granted.

It’s a privilege to be part of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of New Bedford and to give back to such an amazing community. Thank you to everyone who made the night so special.

This year is very different in many ways unfortunately. I wanted to come on here and share my traditional version of O Holy Night. This year there won’t be a midnight mass where I’m able to sing this song and for many reasons it’s upsetting, but myself and Father Mike still found a way to make sure that we could share this beautiful version of a song that describes the true meaning of what happened on Christmas Eve in a manger in Bethlehem many many years ago. In this video you can see it is tough for me to get through in some ways that is only because of this year just as many of you may have an empty seat at your table. My family table has lost the head of its table, Vovo I knew up to the last few months, even if I played a video of me singing that you would hear and you would know exactly who it was. You would always say that’s my grandson so I hope when I recorded this this morning somehow someway you found yourself over Assonet listening to this song as you did for many many years.
