Our new" Hospital Caring Clown" class just began last night. What a great group of people! The first night went so well, we broke away to show them how to spin plates! They each took a plate and stick home with them to borrow! They are such naturals at making others laugh, I just know we are all going to have a great 10 weeks together and patients in all 3 of our hospitals will be so glad to see them.
Next Tuesday we will meet at St. Luke's Hospital for our class on Hygiene in the hospital.

5. Oct. 14, “ -Puppets, Storytelling, Improv 2 Jokes
6. Oct. 21, “ -Working with a partner , Entering the ward & patient room 2 Jokes
7. Oct. 28, “ -Skits/ Walk arounds/ Parades- Name Tag orders 2 Jokes
8. Nov. 04, “ - Honing skills, make up, & costume - Juggling PHOTO

** On week 2, you will meet, Donna Galotti-Kincman, Volunteer Coordinator and Kimberly C**n, Executive Director of Hospital and Medical Staff Services of Southcoast Hospitals to answer questions you any questions you may have. CORI checks & Volunteer forms to be completed at this visit.

8/16 was the 40th Annual Teddy Bear Parade for the Millicent Library in our town of Fairhaven,Massachusetts! The Smile Factory Clowns, our Grandson Cale and his other wonderful Grammy Irene Wright were on hand to help set up, man the bubbles and make sure we all stayed hydrated.
250 children attended and the weather was beautiful! Thanks to hubby,Jeff, nurse I.V.Flo, Rickrack,Dr.Tinsel Tonsils and Paintbrush Pete we painted and glitter tattoed so many kids!! 5 gallons of my new intense bubble mixture, the bubbles were ginormous!!

The 40th Annual Teddy Bear Parade at the Millicent Library in Fairhaven,Massachusetts begins! There were over 250 children who participated in their "End of Summer Reading" Program. Look at all my wonderful helpers!!

Dr. Rocky & Dr. Phil E Buster had a great day with the production crew from NPR who are doing a story on the benefits of healthcare clowning and wanted to spend some time with the at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The piece is expected to air on January 10th, 2025. Don't miss it!

More of our GREAT class happening . I love the glow in the dark spinning plates! And Donna Kincman, Director of Volunteer Services for Southcoast Hospital came in to discuss volunteering at our local 3 hospitals. What an AWESOME group!!
