20 years ago, I stood proudly at my graduation from New Bedford Voc, surrounded by my family and dreaming about what the future would hold. This week, life came full circle as my twins graduated from Greater New Bedford Voc.
The last four years went by in the blink of an eye. Between soccer games, basketball games, track meets, dances, senior events, and celebrations, I poured my heart into creating balloon displays that helped mark so many special moments. Every setup was more than balloons—it was my way of being part of their journey and helping create memories for the students, families, and staff who shared these milestones.
Today, I completed my final school setup as a Voc mom. It’s a bittersweet goodbye. While my heart is full of pride watching my daughters begin their next chapter, it’s hard to close a chapter that has meant so much to me.
To my girls: thank you for letting me be part of your story. To the students who smiled, posed for photos, and celebrated in front of my creations, I hope those moments brought a little extra joy to your high school experience.
A full-circle moment, 20 years in the making. 💙🎓✨
Once a Voc student. Forever a Voc mom.
