& to the fans and the wrestling community:

The Great Lakes Event Network (GLEN) has always been about building something the community can be proud of. I have talked to the performers and the fans who make local wrestling great. One thing is clear: The community is ready for a fresh start.

I have heard the performers and I have heard the fans. You want a promotion that represents the hard work, the talent, and the integrity of this industry, without the indecent-ness of the past.

Today, GLEN is officially launching its own professional wrestling division.

We are moving forward with a new name, a new mission, and a new leadership team...TRU WRESTLING!

TRU Wrestling isn’t just a new name; it’s a new mission. We are stripping away the past to focus on what matters: the best athletes in the region, hard hitting action, and a promotion that everyone can be proud to support.

This is a 100% independent venture under the GLEN umbrella. We aim to move forward, but the old regime and the old culture are GONE. Paul is no longer involved in any capacity. This is a clean break.

We aren't just buying a company; we are building a home for the performers who were left without one. We’re keeping the talent, keeping the passion, but leaving the negativity behind.

A Personal Note From Jason to all of you:
"I’ve spent my career building events like the Great Lakes Comic & Anime Festival, the Yard Sale Trail, and many others to bring people together. I believe in these wrestlers and I believe in this community. I wasn't going to let a moment kill a sport we love. TRU Wrestling belongs to the performers and the fans now. We’re build it back stronger, tougher, and better than ever."
