Employment Opportunities

General:
Sounds Alive Audio-Video has employment opportunities for the 2026 season. We are looking for stagehands, drivers and audio technicians. No experience is necessary for the stagehand positions. We will train you. Experience is necessary for the other two positions. Our season starts in April and ends in October. A majority of the work will be on the weekends and typically outdoors.

Job descriptions:
Production Assistants (stagehand) - responsibilities:
Load and unload road cases, speakers and materials from trucks and/or trailers.
Set up lighting, PA speakers and microphones.
Perform spotlight operation during shows (occasionally).
Assist with sound and light production.
Maintenance of sound equipment, lighting equipment and stages.

Drivers - responsibilities:
Delivery and setup of stages and equipment. Must be able to pull a 35' trailer and/or drive a 26' straight truck. CDL not required but preferable.

Audio technicians - responsibilities:
Mixing FOH and/or monitors
Design the placement of speakers, amps, and microphones
Supervises a crew of technicians and stagehands through load-in, sound check, performance, and load-out.
As the FOH, you will collaborate closely with the artists to determine the sound the band wants for their performance.
As the monitor engineer, you will work closely with the artist to nail down exactly the mix they need in their monitors.
