🥎 GPE Events Spring Slowpitch Softball Leagues 🥎

Get your teams together and get ready for Spring softball at Anderson Park! Registration is now open for our upcoming leagues in New Albany, Indiana.

📍 Location: Anderson Park – New Albany, IN

🥎 League Start Dates
• Coed League: Wednesday, April 8
• Men’s League: Thursday, April 9
• Women’s Draft League: Thursday, April 9
• Oppo Hand League: Thursday, April 9

⏰ Game Times
6:30 PM
7:30 PM
8:30 PM
(Occasional 9:30 PM games if needed)

💰 League Fee: $500 per team
📅 Payment Deadline: April 1st

Schedules will be created after the deadline. If your team fee is not paid by April 1, your team will NOT be included on the schedule.

📋 League Format
• 8 Regular Season Games
• Single Elimination End-of-Season Tournament

👥 League Capacity
• Coed League: Up to 18 teams
• Men’s League: Up to 10 teams
• Oppo Hand League: Up to 4 teams
• Women’s Draft League: 4 teams (48 players total)

What a weekend for the Slowpitch Softball Toys for Tots Tournament. Three divisions. Three champs. Three very tired but very happy teams.

Congratulations to our winners
Women’s: Adrenaline
Coed: Hoggin
Men’s: Hoggin (again?)
The Hoggin crew really said “why not win twice.”

Thank you to every player, coach, spectator, and family member who showed up, played hard, donated toys, and brought great energy. The turnout was amazing and the toy pile grew fast. All of the toys will go to children in need this holiday season and that is what makes this event so special.

Between gate fees and unlimited homerun bands, we were able to purchase an additional $533.29 in toys. (After paying our umpires and covering all operating costs, we still had $530 left over to put toward even more toys!)

Huge shout out to our umpires who worked this event at a discounted rate so we could stretch every dollar and get more toys to more kids. You all are the real MVPs.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event a success. My heart is full and so is the toy bin. 🎄🎁

Huge thank you to everyone who came out today for the Toys for Tots Tournament. Whether you played and donated a toy, or just stopped by to watch, we truly appreciate you. Today was great energy, great people, and some really solid competition on the field all day.

Here are the updated brackets for tomorrow. Games start at 9 AM and doors open at 8:30 AM. If you’re coming back out, don’t forget to bring cash for the $5 gate fee. See you all tomorrow! 🎁🥎✨

Here are the schedules and brackets for our Toys for Tots Slowpitch Softball Tournaments happening tomorrow and Sunday.

This event is open to the public, so feel free to come out, watch some games, and support a great cause. Admission is $5 for everyone coming through the gate.

Players- don’t forget there is an additional admission requirement of one new toy valued at $15 or more, 1 toy per division participating in. For example, if you are playing on a team in both the men’s division and coed division, you need to bring 2 toys.

Location: Silver St. Park, 2043 Silver St., New Albany, IN 47150
Gates open: 8 AM Saturday, 9 AM Sunday

Please remember to bring cash for the door.

🏆 Congratulations to the Fall Coed Softball Champions , WOLFPACK! 🏆

This fall season was one for the books. Between multiple rainouts and even a snowout, the schedule stretched longer than expected. We even wrapped up the final tournament games indoors just to make sure the season could be completed.

Through all the weather chaos, every team hung in there and Wolfpack proved they really do run as a pack, fighting together all the way to the championship.

🐺 Big shoutout to Wolfpack for howling their way to the top!

Thank you to all the teams and players for sticking with us through such an unpredictable season. We appreciate everyone’s dedication and can’t wait to see you next time!

We need just six more players to fill out the last team for the women’s indoor draft league this winter. Two of these spots must be pitchers, so if you pitch, we especially need you!

This is a fun way to stay active, keep your skills sharp, and play alongside an awesome group of women.

💥 WOMEN’S WINTER INDOOR DRAFT LEAGUE 💥

Ladies….are you ready to swing into something new this winter?
Join our Women’s Indoor Slow-Pitch Softball Draft League!

🏟 Format:
• 44 players total (4 teams – 11 women per team)
• Teams will be drafted to balance positions and skill levels
• 4 regular-season games, then a midseason re-draft for a fresh second round!

📅 Season Starts: Second week of December
📍 Location: Silver Street Park

💰 Cost: $50 per player

🗓 Schedule Details:
Games will not be played every week — the indoor season will be split between men’s, women’s, and coed divisions, so you’ll have built-in off weeks.
